创作背景

在2010年一月份，艾薇儿在一个迪士尼的会议上，她向管理人员提及她为自己即将发行的专辑而写的音乐时，很想为这部电影写一首歌。经过讨论后导演同意了艾薇儿。艾薇儿说：“我挂掉了电话，坐在我家的钢琴边立马写下这首歌，我很受启发因为我一直在为这首电影写歌，我脑子里充满着灵感。”她在波斯顿演奏了这首歌，之后有个人打电话给她传达了导演的批准，确认这首歌将用于电影。
