1975年生，湖北浠水县人。1999年留武汉大学计算机系任教。2004年获博士学位。主要研究方向是物联网安全。目前的主要项目是： 1）安全芯片，研发支持国家自主知识产权的密码并支持各类防攻击方法的低功耗芯片，用于智能卡等高安全领域。2）面向智能RFIC的操作系统，支持高安全性的金融和通信行业应用，并以此为核心构建面向EMV的高效信息迁移平台； 3）特定平台和受限环境下的JAVA虚拟机与硬件一体化研究，完成JAVA虚拟机在特定平台上的实现并产品化，关键技术是JVM稳定性动态监测技术、受限环境下的精简指令实时编解码技术和复杂终端环境自适应技术。曾进行的研究方向包括电子政务、演化硬件、智能卡、物联网。
