郑晓龙在社会计算、知识图谱和大数据解析学的基础理论研究、关键技术研发和系统平台建设等方面系取得了丰富的研究成果。目前，郑晓龙已在国内外顶级或知名学术期刊和学术会议上发表论文100余篇，论文已被国内外同行广泛引用以及积极评价（包括：多名院士、IEEE Fellow 以及领域著名专家，发表的国际学术论文2次获得最佳论文奖，1次国内会议优秀论文），出版学术著作8部，已授权国家发明专利和软件著作权10项。郑晓龙作为课题负责人已承担国家及相关项目12项，包括：国家科技重大专项、国家自然基金委重大研发计划重点支持项目、国家自然科学基金委面上项目、青年项目以及国际合作项目、北京青年英才项目以及多项重要横向项目，作为核心骨干成员参与国家重要项目20余项，课题总经费超过1.2亿元；所主持或作为核心骨干参与的国家相关项目成果已获得成功应用和广泛推广，多个项目结题获评“特优”或“优秀”, 研究成果被集成到“十一五”、“十二五”国家科技重大专项的科研平台，入选国家自然科学基金委年度优秀成果。目前，郑晓龙已获得省部级科学技术进步一等奖1项、二等奖1项、三等奖2项。
学术任职
郑晓龙是2019年度和2017年度的IEEE 情报与安全信息学国际会议（IEEE International Conference on Intelligence and Security Informatics，领域顶级国际学术会议）程序委员会主席，曾任2011年度亚太地区情报与安全信息学国际研讨会（PAISI2011）的程序委员会主席、2013年度国际人工智能联合会议（IJCAI，人工智能领域国际顶级学术会议）亚太地区情报与安全信息学国际研讨会（IJCAI-PAISI2013）共同主席、2014年度智能健康国际会议（ICSH2014）程序委员会主席，是2013年度、2015年度、2016年度、2017年度和2018年度智能健康国际会议（International Conference for Smart Health）出版主席（Publication Chair） 、2012至2013年度美国计算机学会社会与经济计算分会的学术秘书及司库、安全信息学领域国际著名期刊《Security Informatics》编委、37个国际学术会议程序委员会委员以及多个国家相关项目以及12个国内外著名学术期刊的评审专家。
郑晓龙现任中国计算机学会大数据专委会通讯委员、中国人工智能产业发展联盟学术与知识产权组副组长、中国指挥与控制学会青年专家委员会常务委员、中文信息学会社会媒体处理专委会委员、IEEE智能交通学会北京学生分会学生指导老师，曾任中关村移动互联网产业联盟大数据专委会副主任委员。
